Jo and Chris. 22nd August, St Giles' Church, Newark and Colwick Hall, Nottingham

Jo and Chris are a really fantastic couple, we were really looking forward to their day as we knew tit was going to be great fun and that we’d get some really fab. photographs.

The day started with Jo and her party getting ready in Newark, with the help of PureLight friend, Rachel Liney. Jo’s a gorgeous girl and Rachel’s brilliant, so I knew she was going to look pretty gorgeous but I was still amazed at just how beautiful she looked.

And Chris looked pretty amazing too! He was in full dress uniform, and we all like a man in uniform now don’t we girls? I have to admit he did have a bit of competition however, as Jo’s little nephew had his own dress uniform and looked pretty sharp himself.

The church ceremony was really touching and they both looked so very happy. Then it was off to Colwick Hall for the reception. We love Colwick Hall. It’s perfect mix of contemporary and classic styles gives it a really unique atmosphere. It’s also a photographer’s dream; even the ladies’ loo provides a great location for photographs. Luckily Jo and Chris were pretty much up for anything so we were really able to make the most of it, have lots of fun and get some great shots.

The reception was a huge success and it was clear that everyone had a ball. We got to stay well into the evening with the PureLight photobooth. We hoped that the guests would get into the spirit of the booth and bring lots of personality and they certainly didn’t disappoint!
